I was honored by God to be the earthly mother of one of His most beautiful creations. My son, Louis de la Porte jnr. was born on the 29th April 1991 at 10 to 9 in the morning.He grew from a beautiful dark haired baby boy, into a shy caring young man. Like everybody else, making plans for his future, teasing his sisters, going out with his brother, enjoying precious time with his mom. Never did we for one moment imagine that we will have to let him go before he lived his life to adulthood. God chose to take him to heaven on the 29th of July 2008, just before 9 in the evening in a tragic road accident. We were blessed with only 17 , short, precious years. Our family will never be whole without him in our midst, his place in our hearts could never be filled. We believe God doesn't make mistakes, so we accept God's decision to take Louistjie with Him. And we know that he is with his Heavenly Father, because a person as beautiful as our Louis, could be at no other place than with the Lord. We will always miss him
